Ranger Pipelines,
established in 1982, provides utility and general engineering construction
services to both public and private clients. Thomas Hunt founded Ranger
and remains as the President and CEO. Mr. Hunt, a graduate civil engineer,
established Ranger after a successful career in heavy and general engineering
construction, including his work with Morrison-Knudsen Corporation on
the Alaskan pipeline project.
Ranger Pipelines has completed hundreds of projects, with the
majority in construction or rehabilitation of waterlines, sewer systems,
and other utilities. The balance of our work is in concrete, general engineering,
and specialty construction. The completion of difficult and complex projects
has sharpened our skills and allowed for a high percentage of repeat work
from satisfied clients. We have never failed to complete a contract, possess
a superior safety record, and enjoy excellent relationships with both
owners and engineering firms.
Our steady growth
has allowed us to attract and retain a highly skilled and motivated staff
of managerial, engineering, supervisory, and craft personnel. Our equipment
is purchased and replaced on an on-going basis to support our workload.
Our mechanics will also modify or create specialized equipment to suit
the needs of a project. Finding creative solutions to unusual tasks is
one of the keys to our success.
Within our main office
and yard in San Francisco, and our on-site
project offices, we maintain a full staff of administrative and support
personnel. Having never been denied project bonding, and with strong support
from our insurance and banking partners, we are well situated to continue
our growth and service to our clients.
