CURRENT CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS - FALL 2009

Ranger approaches the Fall of 2009 with a strong backlog of work. In addition, we have other active projects in varying stages of completion, many of which are located in the greater Bay Area, including the Victoria Island Conveyance Pipeline Project in Discovery Bay which includes the construction of approximately 12,200 LF of a new 72” diameter pipeline. Also coming up in the next few weeks is the Water Main Replacement 21 & 22 project for the City of Palo Alto which involves the installation of water mains, fire hydrant assemblies and water services.

Ranger has on-going work with several private entities. Private work continues to be an area Ranger is developing with much success. Since 1999, our list of private clients and volume of private work has increased substantially. Private clients include Catellus Urban Development, Lennar Corporation, California Water Service Company, CH2mHill, UC Regents and others. (Please refer to our client list.)

Since our current backlog is substantial, we are able to be selective in our pursuit of new work. We are continuing to forge new relationships with sole-source subcontractors and owners that expand our abilities and opportunities.

Our goals are to continue to build our capabilities in both public and private markets with an emphasis on controlled growth through quality and safety. We are still looking for capable and qualified personnel to assist us in meeting our goals. Our future growth is based on serving our new and existing clients in existing markets, new markets, and expanded geographical work areas.
