Work on this project consisted of the installation of approximately 1,350 linear feet of 18-inch diameter ductile iron pipe (DIP) and 815·linear feet of 15-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe. The project also included the removal and construction of new manholes, new storm laterals and inlets, reconnection and repair of active sanitary sewer service laterals, partial removal and reconstruction of existing PCC sidewalk, curb, gutter, driveways, AC roadway pavement, and the construction of ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps. In order to facilitate the construction, subsequent work included traffic control, clearing, grubbing, and removal of obstructions, cleaning and video inspection of existing service laterals, preparing subgrades, installing aggregate base, grade adjustments, tree trimming, streetlight work, streetlight relocation, traffic striping, protection of existing utilities and appurtenances.
