Our objective is a safety and health program that will reduce the number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum. Our goal is zero accidents and injuries.
We believe that every employee is entitled to a safe working environment and with continued employee education and awareness, as well as the implementation of our and Health and Safety Program, have minimized the risk of potential injury. Equipping our employees with the skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and efficiently is one the keys to our success.
Led by senior management, our commitment to implement and execute sound health, safety and environmental practices is reflected in every aspect of our activities. From early planning stages through work completion, we are committed to being a safety leader in the construction industry.
Some of the training offered by our staff includes competent person, first aid, confined space, controlled space, fall protection, fire prevention, vehicle safety, asbestos and lead abatement, and hazardous material handling. Our safety program involves every employee and requires that all superintendents and foremen attend comprehensive safety training. Weekly “toolbox talks” are conducted by supervisors and/or our safety officer, both as initial training and as reminders to each employee that safe practices are mandatory.
