PROJECT ENGINEER:

Work on construction and engineering projects for underground pipeline and underground utilities, including large diameter water, sewer, tunnel and steam work.  Prepare and analyze drawings, blueprints, survey reports and maps using engineering and design software.  Prepare scheduling, estimates and project bidding documents.  Must have bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering and 2 yrs. of experience in job offered or as Civil Engineer.

BUDGET ANALYST:

Prepare budgets. Allocate costs and monitor development of actual costs against forecasts. Perform weekly reviews of value of work in progress and report on costs incurred.  Review and measure percentage of completion of projects and ensure costs related to projects are allocated.  Review change orders. Review and approve revisions and updates. Prepare weekly budget reports. Monitor adherence to budgets. Provide analysis and trends affecting accuracy. Must have bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 2 yrs. of experience in job offered.

SUPERINTENDENT FOR HEAVY CONSTRUCTION / CIVIL ENGINEERING / UNDERGROUND UTILITIES:

Specializing in projects ranging from $5 – $50 million in Northern California.  Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ urban environment experience in Public Works underground utilities construction, with a thorough knowledge of all aspects of heavy construction.

Primary Function

Provide effective on-site coordination of construction crews, materials, equipment, and site logistics in order to maintain project safety requirements, schedules and deadlines.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide overall on-site supervisory management
  • Interfacing with client representatives, subcontractors, etc.
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise field activities
  • Assist project management with developing and managing project work schedules
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries
  • Schedule, coordinate, manage and supervise construction crews of various sizes for day-to-day construction activities

Requirements

  • Pre-Employment drug test
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • OSHA 30 hour
  • First Aid / CRP training
